It's with a touch of sadness that I have to report that my blogging will become somewhat more sporadic over the next few months.
My wife and I are expecting our second child in the autumn this year, so that was always going to affect the time I have available for hobby things, but in the meantime the better half has managed to break her foot, so I'm taking on more of the day to day chores in the house, again meaning less time for hobbies. As a result of that, actually playing the hobby is my main focus, so my blog posts will be much more limited than has been the case.
In the meantime, can I suggest you have a look at these blogs, which I've found interesting in the past and present!
Dave Weston's 'Confessions of a 40k addict'
Dave took best painted army at the recent BlogWars event I attended, and if you look at any of his models, it's easy to see why.
Charlie's 'Elite 40,000'
High-level tactics and analysis, and always with a realistic eye.
Alex at 'From the Fang'
Tireless in his efforts to organise BlogWars twice a year, and fits in some really good blogging too!
Rob at 'From the Horus Heresy to Infinity and Beyond'
A special shout out and thanks to Rob, who kindly donated a lot of Magic the Gathering cards to me recently - his grand plans for an alliance of Blood Angels, Black Templars and Scions is some serious undertaking!
John at 'Heresy and Heroes'
Mortifactors - really characterful chapter and painted so beautifully, they're an inspiration!
NafNaf at 'Objective Secured'
What can I say about these conversions - they're quite simply some of the best I've ever seen, and his painting does them justice too!
Michael Corr at 'St Andrews Wargaming'
A recent addition to my reading list, but good analysis of his battle reports and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into his Dark Angel codex review when I can.
Tonka at 'Tonka's blog of wargaming'
An occasional blogger, but a very good friend who I'm looking forward to locking horns with over the weekend and on a Necromunda table in the future.
Rich at 'Two times Two'
a feast of bloodbowl on here at the moment, which is great since I'm also currently taking part in a league.
and last but not least,
Mj at Vulkan's Fireborn
Another close friend, and occasional blogger, he's taught me a few lessons over the years about how to build a nasty 40k list!
